I help people overcome the challenges they face in everyday life: things like feeling overwhelmed by work or school, moods that are low or difficult to contain, anxiety and excessive worries, stress, unsatisfying or chaotic relationships, issues stemming from trauma and abuse.
If you're not finding satisfaction or joy in life, if you feel stuck, or if you keep running into mental, emotional, or behavioral blocks, I can help. I work with adults and also
specialize in helping college/university students and the unique challenges that go with college life: balancing academic and social demands, pressure to succeed, fitting in, "adulting," and possibly most importantly, becoming the person you want to be.
I opened Aspire Counseling in 2008 to meet the mental health needs of college students in Greater Boston. My practice has since grown to include adults and I now serve clients in both Massachusetts and Maine, but my mission has remained: to help each my clients have a more rewarding, fulfilling, and emotionally stable life.
